The marina was founded by the Linn family in the early 1950's. Robert Linn,
Sr., and his sons Dave and Rick operated
Bay Haven Marina until 1989. At that
time the marina was sold and was briefly called Bay Shore marina. In 1990
the
current
owner bought the property and renamed it Yacht Basin Marina. Since that
time the owner and his crew
have worked
tirelessly to make the Yacht Basin the best marina in the area.
